Reflection Questions

In order to successfully complete your assessment the reflection questions must be answered. Question#1 and #2 are mandatory. Question #3 and #4 are optional. Keep in mind the reflection allows the faculty member to see the class as a whole reflecting on what the students learned by the end of the term.

Things to focus on when writing the reflection portion of the assessment report:

  1. Did the assessment tool(s) work and were the students able to retain the information through the process.
  2. If the assessment process was successful are the students prepared for future courses.
  3. If the assessment was not successful how can you change it. There could be many reasons for this: how the SLO is written, the assessment tool, slight adjust in the assessment process etc.
