Chamber Music at Glendale College consists of small groups of two to four players, in various combinations of instruments. Students study music from all style periods and learn the techniques of playing in a small, unconducted ensemble with an experienced instructor from the music department.
Rehearsals are held at various times throughout the week, based the schedules of the students and their instructor. Ensembles rehearse for two hours each week in the Auditorium Building at the college.
Every semester, Chamber Music ensembles perform a recital for each other and the public. Additional performances are scheduled as appropriate for each group.
Experienced instrumentalists are welcome. Ensembles are newly formed each semester. For more information, please contact Ms. Beth Pflueger at 818.240.1000 ext. 5829, or via e-mail: pflueger@glendale.edu or Dr. Paul Sherman (psherman@glendale.edu)
