The Milt Young Scholarship (section leaders), valued at $150 per semester, will be awarded to 4 deserving College Choir students : one soprano, one alto, one tenor, & one bass. The award will be given for musicianship and potential for leadership in the Glendale College  Choir. Recipients will lead their sections musically, be at all rehearsals, and learn all music in order to help the rest of the singers in that section.

The Milt Young Entrance Scholarship ($100 per recipient), will be awarded to a maximum of 4 deserving College Choir students coming to Glendale College directly from High School. The award will be given for musicianship and potential for excellence in the GCC College Choir. Recipients must attend all rehearsals, and learn all music in order to help the rest of the singers in that section.

To apply for either scholarship, register for College Choir (MU 231), and ask Dr. Peter Green for an application. Scholarship auditions will take place at the same time that the College Choir auditions are done (first week of classes).
