The Glendale College Community Orchestra is made up of auditioned instrumentalists throughout Los Angeles County and matriculating students from GCC's music department. Our instrumentalists are exposed to a wide variety of repertoire while striving to rehearse and perform with proper technique and expressive musical intent. The learning outcomes for our instrumentalists consist of accurate preparation and successful performances of orchestral literature as a part of a section, sight reading improvement, and use of appropriate musical terminology and performance techniques.
